For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Margaret!
Margaret is a Payroll Manager on Tilson’s Finance and Accounting team, based remotely in Georgia, where she is responsible for processing our weekly payroll.
“This is my first time working in telecom,” said Margaret. “I was intrigued by the business and how much there is to learn. I like the family-oriented side of Tilson and appreciate the focus on safety and work-life balance. My team is supportive, easy going, and hardworking.”
Outside of work, Margaret enjoys traveling, family gatherings, going to church, nature walks, and volunteering at her local food pantry. Margaret was born in Jamaica and migrated to Boston, where she spent over 30 years living before moving to Georgia. Her favorite sports team is the Boston Celtics, she loves curried foods, and her favorite movie is the original Karate Kid.
Fun fact: Although Margaret loves spending time by the water, she doesn’t know how to swim.
