For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays employee spotlight, meet Casey Spiegel!
Casey is Tilson’s Director of Site Deployment, overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and management of all real estate and site acquisition activities at Tilson. This includes the leasing, permitting, zoning, planning, and implementation required to develop both new and existing telecom network sites for a wide variety of partners, including wireless carriers, broadband providers, EV charging companies, government entities, and tower and pole owners.
Casey joined Tilson in late 2023. While one of Tilson’s newer team members, he is enjoying his time and said he “received such an overwhelming warm welcome. I enjoy getting to collaborate with such interesting and talented people across the company.”
He added, “I appreciate the forward-thinking atmosphere here at Tilson. We are encouraged to explore new and innovative ideas which keeps the teams engaged and motivated.”
In his free time, Casey enjoys spending quality time with his kids, often exploring local parks in his hometown of Louisiana or taking scenic trips to the mountains. They also enjoy going to football games as a family to cheer on the LSU Tigers.
Fun fact: Casey’s route to telecom wasn’t a direct path. He holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and a Master of Science in financial engineering, which took him into a petroleum landman position. It was this experience negotiating complicated oil, gas, and mineral leases which supported his transition to telecom site deployment over a decade ago.
