Tilson Tuesdays, Daniel Riedlinger

For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Daniel!

Daniel is a Sourcing Manager for Fleet and Equipment based out of Tilson’s Portland, ME headquarters and is responsible for working closely with our teams to provide them with the essential equipment that they need to work (i.e. trucks, trailers, drills, and other large equipment). Before joining us full-time, Daniel was a SkillBridge intern at Tilson, which is a program that allows transitioning service members to learn new skills, earn certifications, work in the field, and directly contribute to their communities.

“I enjoy working at Tilson because the position I have allows to me meet people from all over the country,” said Daniel. “I interact with a ton of people on a daily basis that are getting the job done on the ground, and I feel a sense of pride that I was able to help them do their job by getting them the equipment that they need.”

Daniel is a Navy veteran who specialized in submarine navigation and material readiness. He was also trained as a SCUBA diver for underwater repairs/inspections and a rescue swimmer. Outside of work, Daniel likes swim competitively on a local team called the Great Bay Master Swim Club, nerd out on fish tanks and wine, and hang out with his French bulldog, Romeo. Daniel is a fan of the New Orleans Saints team, loves boiled crawfish, and the book A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole.

Fun Fact: Daniel is a certified Sommelier.

Thank you for your hard work and service to our country, Daniel!
