For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays employee spotlight, meet Christine Caldwell!
Christine is the Program Manager of Professional Development on Tilson’s Training and Development team. She is responsible for providing all Tilson employees with professional development opportunities, whether they’re looking to better understand their role, advance their career, or further develop their leadership skills. Christine also facilitates Gallup CliftonStrengths training sessions for teams and individuals to unlock their unique strengths and enhance team dynamics.
While Christine works remotely, she also appreciates the opportunities she’s had to work with colleagues face-to-face, noting that “these meetings are always full of laughter and creative brainstorming.”
“What sets Tilson apart is its exceptional community of individuals,” Christine said. “Every person I’ve come across has a remarkable willingness to stop what they are doing and extend a helping hand whenever needed. Since my very first day, I have experienced an overwhelming sense of warmth and encouragement, creating an environment where I not only feel welcomed but also continuously supported.”
When not leading training efforts at Tilson, Christine enjoys Pilates, playing competitive cornhole, and practicing her mixology skills. She makes great margaritas and Moscow mules. Christine also loves planning her next travel adventure and loves to explore new places. Even as a kid, she was moving to a new city every 2-3 years since her dad was in the Navy. Originally from Florida, Christine now lives and works in Virginia. When it is time to unwind, you can find Christine with a good book and a hot cup of tea.
Fun fact: Christine has fostered 13 dogs. Her current dog, Harlow, came to her as a rescue from Hurricane Harvey and was supposed to be a foster, but instead found her forever home with Christine.
