For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Wil!
Wil is a Network Field Technician III based in Washington and is responsible for radio frequency (RF) engineering and technical support for one of our client’s wireless smart grid utilities (electric and gas meters).
Prior to Tilson, Wil was a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy and served our country for twenty-six years. Regarding Tilson’s company culture, Wil said, “Tilson is a team-family orientated organization very similar to the military.”
Outside of work, Wil enjoys spending time with family and running, hiking, and walking the trails throughout the Kitsap Peninsula, Cascade, and Olympic mountains in Washington. He also likes to kayak the Puget Sound and lakes throughout western Washington. William roots for the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens, enjoys reading technology-related content, and has a Labrador retriever named Lucy.
Fun Fact: Wil has run at least three miles in all 50 states and over 20 countries throughout the world!
