Tilson Tuesdays, Martha Stinson

For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Martha!

Martha is the Director of Applications Support and is responsible for leading Tilson’s ERP implementation and the Application Support team.

“My favorite part about Tilson so far has been the people,” said Martha. “My teammates are smart, quick-witted, and supportive every single day. Every roadblock that comes up is worked through together as a team. I would describe Tilson as a fast-paced, intense work environment where everyone is working towards one goal! We work together and support each other to reach our mission.”

Outside of work, Martha enjoys spending time with her family watching movies, anime, and getting outdoors. She loves to craft, including crocheting, knitting, sewing, and hand embroidering. Martha is originally from the Dominican Republic and moved to New York City when she was five years old. She now lives in Austin, Texas, with her family, three dogs, a bearded dragon, and a fish community. One of her favorite dishes is sancocho, a Dominican stew that her Mami frequently makes. “I am documenting her recipes every time we are together,” said Martha. “We pick a dish, and I follow her around as she makes it. Two huge plusses are that we get it written down, and we get to eat it after!”

Fun Fact: Martha has never lived anywhere longer than 13 years and typically moves across the country every 5 to 6 years!

We’re lucky to have you at Tilson, Martha! Thank you for all your hard work.
