For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Denise!
Denise is an HR Onboarding Coordinator based out of Tilson’s Portland, ME headquarters and is responsible for onboarding all new hires. From offer letters to orientation on your first day, Denise walks each employee through the process to ensure they are set up for success.
“I love welcoming new employees, sharing Tilson’s culture with them, and providing them with the tools they need to jump right in,” said Denise. “The team environment here at Tilson is tremendous. Many people come together to prepare for a new hire, and I appreciate the collaboration from our recruiters, hiring managers, IT, and the many local coordinators in the field. I’m excited about the number of new hires joining Tilson – February is a record-breaking 65+ hires!”
Outside of work, Denise enjoys camping, exploring outdoors, knitting, and trying new recipes. In her spare time, Denise also enjoys reading: her latest read was “Left to Tell, Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust” by Immaculée Ilibagiza. Denise is originally from Augusta, Maine, and has lived in Maine her entire life.
Fun Fact: Denise used to be a downhill ski instructor in Maine!
