Tilson Tuesdays, Amy Long

For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays employee highlight, meet Amy Long!

Amy is Tilson’s National Fleet Coordinator, helping to make sure our drivers have the resources and tools they need to drive safely and legally. Amy handles vehicle registrations, license plates, fuel programs, and fleet decals, while also providing systems and applications support to the team. With hundreds of certified drivers nationwide, Amy’s organization and coordination is incredibly important to Tilson.

Coming up on nearly two years on the job, Amy has enjoyed being part of the growth and development of the Fleet team and their operations, helping to implement new systems and develop better processes. While Tilson’s record growth and expanding fleet requires flexibility and change, Amy says “it’s easy when you have great teammates and effective leadership.”

While Amy is a remote employee working from Pennsylvania, she still feels connected to her teammates across the country. “Tilson does a great job of maintaining company morale,” she said. “They make sure we’re always in the know about what’s happening throughout the company.”

When not at work, Amy is always on the move, bartending on the weekends, going for walks with her dog, and taking trips to the beach. Her son recently left for the Navy, so Amy and her husband (a Marine) are adjusting to newfound quiet in the house. They enjoy taking mini trips away from home and may have new opportunities now to do so.

Fun fact: Amy loves to cook and experiment with new recipes. Her favorite dish is veal française or chicken Florentine.

Thank you, Amy, for being part of the Tilson team. We appreciate all you do!
