New Career Opportunities for Displaced Wireless Workers

If you’ve been laid off or displaced by recent changes in the wireless industry, Tilson wants to hear from you. Your wireless experience makes you a competitive candidate for fiber wireline projects. We have stable, long-term job opportunities on Tilson’s Outside Plant (OSP) team, building fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband infrastructure across the country. We provide training to apply your wireless construction experience to a new role, and offer industry-leading benefits, competitive pay, and opportunities to grow in a new career.

Stable, Long-Term Employment

Join Tilson confident in the fact that we have reliable long-term work, with a contractual backlog already in place for the next four years. In addition to existing contracted work, we continue to strategically scale our workforce and expand our service offerings. Instead of chasing projects company to company, enjoy the stability and assurance of continuous work as part of Tilson’s team.

You Have the Expertise, We Have the Work

As a wireless professional, you are already well-positioned to make a smooth transition to wireline projects. Tilson values the expert skills you bring and would like to offer the opportunity to join us and broaden your skills and marketability.

For example, the ability to use a test set translates well to the optical testing we perform. If you’re on a small cell crew used to working in buckets, it’s relatively easy to make a transition to fiber splicing or other line crew projects. Additionally, Tilson is always looking for those with commercial driver’s licenses (CDL drivers).

Our goal is to work with you to provide the necessary training for you to succeed as you take this next step in your career. We will work with you to find the right fit based on your skills and interests.
