For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays employee highlight, meet Aaron Dyer!
Aaron is a CDL Operator II supporting our Outside Plant (OSP) team with fiber projects in Arizona. He has been with Tilson for nearly a year and has a range of responsibilities, including working directly on projects in the field, helping transport equipment, keeping the local fleet up to DOT standards, and ensuring equipment is operational. Aaron also helps take care of the yard where we store and work on Tilson vehicles.
Part of his role involves traveling, which is a highlight for Aaron. “The best part about this job for me is being able to work in other cities, meeting other employees, and being able to share experiences,” he said.
Tilson’s work in Arizona is part of a new initiative to bring high-speed fiber broadband to local communities, and Aaron has been involved since day one. “Being part of this project since the beginning and seeing it grow has been very exciting.”
When not working, Aaron loves spending time with his family, watching movies or football games. He also enjoys fishing and the great outdoors. Originally from Tennessee, he appreciates that Arizona has a bit of everything; with a short drive he can leave the desert to find forests, lakes, and snow.
Fun fact: In addition to three dogs and a cat, his family also has a pet potbellied pig named Betsy.
