Tilson Tuesdays, Benjamin Wheeler

For this week’s intern edition of #tilsontuesdays, meet Benjamin Wheeler!

Benjamin is currently a sophomore at Culver Stockton College in Missouri and is one of our 12 summer interns. Studying computer and data science, Benjamin interned with Tilson’s User Experience team to work on data assurance and updating databases. As the internship comes to a close, Benjamin will return to school with a new understanding of database structuring in a professional setting.

Internships are a valuable learning opportunity and Tilson strives to integrate summer interns into our existing teams so they can make the most of this experience. “I was given a lot of responsibilities,” Benjamin shared. “I quickly became a team member as opposed to just an intern and that was exciting.”

Outside of work and school, Benjamin enjoys going to the movies with his wife. His favorite films are “All Quiet on the Western Front,” “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” and “The Fury.” He also likes to play video games and is an avid reader.

Fun fact: Benjamin enjoys chess and says Hikaru Nakamura, an American chess grandmaster, is his favorite player.

Thank you, Benjamin, for joining our User Experience team over the summer and for all your hard work!
