Tilson Tuesdays, Alisha Stokes

We are continuing our celebration of Tower Tech Appreciation Day by featuring members of our Wireless team for our May Tilson Tuesdays employee spotlights. For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays, meet Alisha Stokes!

Alisha is a Tower Foreman based out of Virginia and has been with Tilson for almost two years. She is responsible for leading, coordinating, and assisting her crew with building and maintaining cell towers, small cells, oDAS, and other wireless equipment and structures.

Alisha’s favorite part of the work she does is the people. “I experience a huge sense of togetherness and encouragement where I not only feel welcomed but also supported,” she said. “Tilson has a high morale with an environment where people work together to get the job done safely and correctly.”

This commitment to safety is important to Alisha. “I admire how much effort and attention Tilson as a company puts into safety since I share those same ethics.” For those who are interested in becoming a tower tech or joining a wireless team, she says to always be observant and aware of your surroundings and to always establish a safe work environment before anything else.

When not building telecom infrastructure, Alisha loves to spend time with her fiancée and their 10-year-old son. They like to do big get togethers with friends and family, whether that’s going on vacation with the whole family or hosting large gatherings at the house.

Fun fact: Alisha is getting married this October – congrats!

Tilson is fortunate to have you on the team, Alisha, and we appreciate everything you do on the Wireless team.
