Tilson’s Diverse Expertise Drives Major U.S. Network Launch

Overview

In 2020, a national cellular carrier building a regional wireless network fell behind schedule. Tilson was tasked to re-imagine, reform, and rescue the project for our partner and the communities they serve.

Challenge

Initially engaged to bring core components of site acquisition, construction, and negotiation of the master lease agreement back on schedule, Tilson provided a plan based on our self-service design, construction, and commercialization expertise. Based on the quality of our planning, our demonstrated expertise, and our proven track record, our client increased the mandate by an order of magnitude, charging Tilson with the execution and monetization of the regional network.

Solution

Tilson mobilized to design and install the network, as well as work on commercialization so that the client will benefit from increased return on investment soon after launch. Tilson’s in-house site acquisition, engineering, and construction teams deployed quickly, aided by the advantages of our Tilson Infrastructure affiliate, a registered CLEC in all 50 states. Tilson’s legal professionals are currently crafting master lease agreements and negotiating on our clients’ behalf, allowing them to increase capacity and coverage for their customers.
