PORTLAND, ME (March 7, 2012) Tilson is pleased to announce that Joshua Broder, Tilson’s President, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Gulf of Maine Research Institute (GMRI). Based in Portland, GMRI catalyzes solutions to the complex challenges of ocean stewardship and economic growth in the Gulf of Maine bioregion. The organization provides technical expertise and nuanced stakeholder engagement to solve tough challenges. GMRI’s programs position New England fisheries to emerge as sustainability models, expand coastal communities’ capacity to innovate and compete, and prepare Maine students to lead the nation in science literacy.
“I’m honored to join GMRI’s Board,” said Broder. “GMRI is conducting world class research, offering interactive, innovative learning opportunities for Maine students, and creating and implementing programs to engage stakeholders and the general public. I look forward to working with the Board and staff over the coming years.”
As President of Tilson, Broder is responsible for strategy, leadership, and business development across the Tilson family of companies. Founded in 1996, Tilson is a family of consulting firms providing IT and telecommunications consulting services for private and public sector clients.
