TILSON SENIOR CONSULTANT APPOINTED TO INFRAGARD’S SECTOR CHIEF PROGRAM
Portland, ME (07/22/2020). Tilson, a national network development and information infrastructure professional services firm, announced today that Peter Fortunato, Senior Consultant, has been appointed as InfraGard Maine’s Sector Chief for both the Information Technology and Communications areas. InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and private sector organizations comprised of 80 local alliances and more than 50,000 members across the country serving to protect the nation's sixteen critical infrastructure sectors for improved national security.
As Sector Chief, Mr. Fortunato is recognized as an industry top subject matter expert and acts as a liaison to facilitate information sharing and communication between the FBI and local InfraGard Members Alliances (IMAs). Bringing over three decades of information technology and information security experience, Mr. Fortunato currently serves as a senior consultant in the Cybersecurity Division at Tilson. The Division leverages its six-step methodology to developing and improving cybersecurity programs and provides outsourced CISO services for mid-sized and enterprise clients. The team also performs vulnerability assessments, cybersecurity consulting services, and architects comprehensive solutions to adequately prevent, detect, and respond to security events.
