Tilson Licensed as a Tower General Contractor in Florida

Pensacola FL. April 1, 2014 – Tilson recently completed the multi-step process to become a licensed wireless tower general contractor in the State of Florida. Florida requires a rigorous licensing process for contractors looking to pull building permits and prime contract telecom construction, maintenance, and installation. To become a licensed general contractor in Florida, applicants must:

• Pass several exams on business, finance, project management, and the trades
• Demonstrate four years of experience 
• Provide proof of sufficient insurance
• Show financial strength and pass personal and corporate credit checks
• Pass a key personnel background check 
• Be a company registered and in good standing to do business in Florida, without outstanding liens 
• Meet continuing education requirements
