In honor of Tilson’s 28th anniversary in July, we’re turning our weekly Tilson Tuesdays employee spotlight on a few of our longer-tenured team members. This week, meet Zuri Smith!
Zuri is a Program Manager for our Engineering Shared Services (ESS) team and has been with Tilson since 2019. In his role, he manages project schedules, resources, and budgets for several of Tilson’s nationwide ESS projects. While Zuri works out of Atlanta, Georgia, his responsibilities include projects in multiple states and for multiple clients.
“I have had the pleasure of working with teams across Tilson, and I consistently have the same experience with everyone – professionalism, respect, and enthusiasm for the work we do. Even as our team grows, Tilson’s culture and core values have stayed the same.”
In his free time, Zuri keeps up with the local sports teams in Georgia, from basketball and baseball to football and soccer. He loves spending quality time with his family, which includes four boys that keep him busy. When he does have a moment to relax, Zuri enjoys watching movies (Harlem Nights and Coming to America are both favorites) or catching up on TV (the Game of Thrones franchise being top of the list).
Fun fact: All four of Zuri’s boys have names that also start with “Z:” Zuri Jr., Zan, Zackery, and Zayden.
