In honor of Women’s History Month, we are featuring women throughout the month of March who are influencing and leading Tilson’s mission to build America’s information infrastructure. For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Tasha Wheeler!
Tasha is the Senior Manager of Closeouts on Tilson’s Client Management team, based remotely in Colorado. She is responsible for handling the final deliverables for our Outside Plant and Wireless customers across all markets.
“Tilson has a great culture. My team is eager to help in any way possible,” said Tasha. “When resources are an issue, they fly employees in from other markets or get new jobs open within days to ensure all the help is needed for your team/project to succeed. There’s always an all-hands-on deck comradery if you ever need the support.”
When asked what Women’s History Month means to her, Tasha said, “Women’s History Month is important to me because of the countless women who have fought courageously and tirelessly for equality and justice. This month highlights the achievements of women from both the past and present and gives us a chance to reflect, recognize, and remember the trailblazing women who lead the way for change!”
Outside of work, Tasha enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, watching movies, or hanging out at the swimming pool. To stay connected with her creative side, Tasha spends time reading, writing, and drawing. She was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and currently lives there with her family. Her favorite food is a smothered burrito with extra spicy green chili (the spicier the better), and her favorite sport to watch is boxing. She fell in love with boxing in 1999 when she first saw Mike Tyson in a live match on tv.
Fun fact: Tasha’s favorite place to travel to is Mexico. She loves the sunny weather, warm beaches, and traveling with her kids.
Thanks for helping us reach our goals, Tasha! We’re glad to have you on the Tilson team.
