Tilson Tuesdays, Rachel Simpson

For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays employee spotlight, meet Rachel Simpson!

Based out of Chicago, Illinois, Rachel is a Proposals Manager on our Operations team. She plays a pivotal role in Tilson’s bids and proposal process, working closely with stakeholders across various departments to pursue new project opportunities through the development and management of requests for proposals (RFPs). Tight deadlines can create pressure during proposal development, but Rachel’s composure keeps our process efficient and focused.

Her ability to effectively collaborate with teams ensures that we remain agile, adapting quickly to the demands of each project. Rachel’s dedication to showcasing Tilson’s mission shines through in our proposals. This commitment enhances our reputation for reliability and responsiveness – key qualities that set us apart in the market.

“I enjoy working at Tilson because of the unique collaboration in our projects,” said Rachel. “Building strong relationships with our teams has inspired me to think outside the box and always strive to deliver the best proposal possible.”

Outside of work, Rachel loves to cook, garden, and go snorkeling with her husband. To relax, she likes to read or walk her dog, Wrigley, who is 12 years old but still a puppy at heart.

Fun fact: Rachel is a huge “Swiftie” and says she will be forever. She has seen Taylor Swift in concert six times!

Thank you, Rachel, for your dedication and hard work helping Tilson put its best foot forward with every project proposal.
