For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays employee spotlight, meet Oscar Castaneda!
Oscar serves as both a Drill Operator and Foreman at our Chandler, Arizona office, where he plays a key role in installing fiber infrastructure that will enable high-speed internet access to over 190,000 homes and businesses in the region.
Oscar is responsible for overseeing the operation of directional drill rigs, which are specialized machines used to lay fiber cables underground. This method allows for efficient and precise installation while minimizing disruption to the surrounding area. With a primary focus on safety and efficiency, Oscar ensures that all drilling operations run smoothly and meet project timelines. His leadership and commitment to safety creates a secure environment where everyone can perform their best.
“I enjoy my work at Tilson because it offers me the chance to continuously learn and grow,” Oscar says.
In his off time, Oscar treasures time with his family and girlfriend. As a Dallas Cowboys fan, he enjoys watching the game with a steak and a cold Dr. Pepper. To unwind, he likes to watch Marvel movies or listen to the music of Edgardo Nunez.
