For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays employee spotlight, meet Nolan Doe!
Nolan is a Traveling Aerial Telecom Lineman on Tilson’s Outside Plant team. In this role, Nolan actively supports the day-to-day activities of fiber construction, connecting homes and businesses to high-speed fiber internet. Each day can look different for Nolan as he supports both underground fiber as well as aerial fiber construction projects.
As a Traveling Lineman, Nolan has had the opportunity to work on Tilson projects in multiple markets. While he is based out of Tilson’s Connecticut office, his favorite project so far has been collaborating on a broadband network in Vermont since it meant exploring a new area and meeting new Tilson coworkers.
When asked about life at Tilson, Nolan says, “I like working at Tilson because they recognize the importance of safety and provide me the proper tools and resources to do my job safely.”
Originally from Upstate New York near both the St. Lawrence River and the Adirondack Mountains, Nolan has a lifelong love of hiking and foraging. He also likes to travel and watch history documentaries in his free time.
