For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays employee spotlight, and in celebration of National Engineers Week, meet Malerie Walker on our Engineering Shared Services team!
Malerie is a Quality Control Manager in our Arizona market, where she oversees our Quality Control team and ensures Tilson’s fiber installations meet the highest standards. As a national design-build firm, Tilson’s in-house team of 150+ engineers develop network designs, while our construction crews bring the designs to life.
Malerie and her Quality Control team are at the heart of this process, working across all teams to ensure that every planned foot of fiber cable is installed with precision. Their attention to detail guarantees that each installation is successful, delivering the fastest, most reliable internet possible to the communities we serve.

Outside of work, Malerie loves being a mom to her two children and always appreciates family time with them, her husband, and their two basset hounds, Ollie and Lady. Their favorite thing to do as a family is travel and find new adventures to experience together. Malerie is also a foodie, always excited to try new restaurants or test out a new recipe in her own kitchen.
Fun fact: Malerie owns a photography business and loves using her lens to tell stories and capture memories for others.
