For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Lis!
Lis is the Manager of IT Services based out of Tilson’s Portland, ME headquarters and is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and budget management for IT projects. She also assists Tilson’s clients with new technology implementation and processes.
“Tilson is a place of motivated doers; you never have to worry when you reach out to gain support or pitch in to help anyone,” says Lis. “I often like to use our tagline of ‘we have no B team,’ and that is evident every day I have been here. I enjoy making connections to my peers in other business units and leveraging them for insight or even just a hello when needed.”
Outside of work, Lis enjoys kickboxing, yoga classes, and spending time with her husband and four children. She is an elected school board member, the chair of her son’s parent teach group (PTG), and a Girl Scout leader for her daughter’s troop in central Maine. Her favorite foods are fresh sushi and coffee. Lis has two cats Morgan and Dewey who just turned 11 years old.
Fun fact: Lis took dance classes into her early 20s and still has her last pair of pointe shoes!
