For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Kevin!
Kevin is an Aerial Telecom Lineman based out of Tilson’s Hartford, Connecticut office and is responsible for supporting the aerial construction workflows in the field, including operating hydraulic aerial lifts, placing aerial fiber cable, and maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing overheard fiber.
“The culture at Tilson is well-connected and diverse, and I’m grateful to be a part of it,” said Kevin. “I love working with my teammates to complete large assignments that help the company achieve important business goals.”
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys going to the gym, playing video games, going on dates with his girlfriend, and spending time with friends and family. Kevin is from Kingston, Jamaica, and now lives in Connecticut. His favorite sports team is Manchester United, his favorite meal is oxtail rice and peas, and his favorite book is Forged by Fire by Sharon Draper.
Fun Fact: Kevin used to compete as a Muay Thai fighter and made his debut in the ring back in 2014.
