For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet John!
John is a General Manager for Tilson Infrastructure, where he oversees the budget, sales, and reporting for three fiber projects, including our neutral host fiber network at the Purdue Research Foundation (PRF).
“I think I enjoy the people the most,” said John. “There is a high level of respect and courtesy that runs throughout the company at all levels. I describe the culture as what every other company would like their culture to be, only here we live it.”
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, fishing, and reading (his favorite book is The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett). John is from Danvers, Massachusetts, and lives locally with his family and 18-year-old cat named Lunchbox. His favorite sports teams are the Boston Bruins and Red Sox, his favorite movies are the Godfather II, Pulp Fiction, and Shawshank Redemption, and he loves to cook (nothing beats a good steak).
Fun Fact: John is a “decent” skeet shooter, a sport where participants use shotguns to shoot at clay targets thrown into the air.
