For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet John!
John is an ESS Project Manager on Tilson’s Engineering team, where he is responsible for overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and key stakeholders are informed throughout the process. Our engineering team designs and builds telecommunications infrastructure for carriers, government agencies, utility owners, and privately funded networks.
“I really enjoy the positive culture at Tilson,” said John. “I have been in the telecom industry for over 40 years, and have been with many companies over the years, but none compare to Tilson’s culture.”
Outside of work, John enjoys hunting, fishing, and watching football and hockey. He is from Minnesota, and now lives in Colorado with his two Australian Shepherds, Dolly and Sadie. His favorite sports teams are the Denver Broncos and Dallas Stars, his favorite type of food is Italian, and his favorite movies are The Wizard of Oz and It’s a Wonderful Life.
Fun fact: John spent six years as a Bull Rider at the North Pacific Rodeo and Texas circuits!
