For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Jessica!
Jessica is a Project Controls Specialist based remotely from Arizona and is responsible for assisting Project Managers with purchase orders, billing, and cost support.
“During my first week at Tilson, there were so many team members from all over the company that reached out to welcome me to the team,” said Jessica. “When starting a new job, it’s the small things that make you certain you chose the right place. I’ve really enjoyed my time here at Tilson because everyone works together as a team to share their knowledge and support one another. No one is hesitant to help on any given task, even if it’s outside of their key role. We all work together. The management team is also very supportive of employees climbing the ladder at Tilson, and they take the time to ask employees what they want their career path look like, so they can support them.”
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys cooking, hanging out with friends and family by the lake, and planning her upcoming wedding. Jessica is originally from Mesa, Arizona, and lives locally with her fiancé, two dogs, two ducks, and fifteen chickens. Her favorite sports team are the Eagles, her favorite type of food is Mexican (especially a California Burrito or Pollo Fundido), her favorite tv show is Yellowstone, her favorite movie is Only the Brave, and her favorite books are Outliers and David & Goliath by Malcom Gladwell.
Fun fact: Jessica has never been hunting before, but she recently got her name drawn for a Cow Elk tag!
