Tilson Tuesdays, James Hays

For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet James!

James is a Tower Foreman based out of Tilson’s Spanish Fort, Alabama office and is responsible for leading a crew of Tower Technicians, including project planning, work delegation, and tower troubleshooting and maintenance for major wireless carriers. Prior to joining Tilson, James served four years in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal Combat Engineer, where he oversaw the placement and removal of land mines, fighting positions, and bridging operations.

“My military service means a lot to me and gave me a greater respect for our freedom,” said James. “I learned a lot during my service, including the importance of your work ethic, values, and integrity. At Tilson, I have always felt respected by my coworkers for my military service.”

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his family, going to church, and going hunting and fishing. James is from Meridian, Mississippi, where he lives with his wife, three children, two girls and one boy, and their dog, Simba. His favorite sport is football, especially any Southeastern Conference team, his favorite food is meat and taters, his favorite book is the Bible, and his favorite band is Whiskey Myers.

We are so grateful to have you on the team, James, and thank you for your service!
