For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Jake!
Jake is a Project Manager on Tilson’s Site Deployment team and is responsible for resource planning, organizing internal and external sub-vendor project teams, budget and time management, and evaluating project performance.
“First and foremost, I love that Tilson provides the opportunity to grow,” said Jake. “The sky is the limit from an entrepreneurship point of view. You can’t find that at most companies. The work/life balance is also good. My boss and colleagues are exceptional to work with. I would describe the culture as young, bold, and versatile!”
Outside of work, Jake enjoys spending time outdoors mountain biking, hunting, fishing, and gardening. Jake lives in Michigan (born and raised) with his wife and two children. He roots for the University of Michigan Red Wings and Lions, his favorite food is lobster, and his favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption. Jake has two dogs, a black lab named Josie (aka Joe) and a corgi named Penny.
Fun Fact: Jake loves Skittles, the smell of freshly cut grass in the spring, and he often turns to music and inspirational quotes for relaxation.
