For our final Women’s History Month feature and Tilson Tuesday employee spotlight, meet Heather Terranova!
Heather is an Assistant Project Manager for our Outside Plant operations, responsible for the planning, tracking, and reporting of large fiber construction projects. This work allows our field crews to focus on doing their work safely and efficiently, bringing fiber internet to homes and businesses across the country. Heather’s keen attention to detail and project management skills ensures we meet project schedules and that our teams have the resources needed to build the fastest, most reliable fiber networks.
Reflecting on her time with Tilson as she approaches her four-year anniversary, Heather said, “since joining Tilson, I’ve experienced professional growth thanks to the guidance and support from leadership. The encouragement and collaboration from every team member to help one another succeed is something I believe sets Tilson apart!”
Heather isn’t the first in her family to work in the telecom industry, “My mom, who is no longer with us, worked at AT&T. She was one of the strongest women I know, beating cancer multiple times before passing away. I’m proud to continue her legacy.”
Born, raised, and currently living in New York, Heather loves spending quality time with her husband, friends, and family. As a music lover with eclectic taste, Heather can often be found at concerts, enjoying pop, EDM, and metal shows. She also likes to travel, including visiting Tilson’s home base of Portland, Maine, at least once a year.
Fun fact: Heather loves horror films and everything Halloween. She even has a year-round “Halloween tree” in her home!
