For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Heather!
Heather is the Senior Counsel of Siting & Real Estate based out of Tilson’s Portland, ME headquarters and is responsible for leading the Telecom Advocacy Group (TAG), which supports project teams with zoning, permitting, and negotiating easements and leases. Heather also supports Tilson Infrastructure’s tower and pole acquisition program.
“I love the can-do attitude that everyone at Tilson has,” said Heather. “Across all areas of the company, people are always willing to pitch in and help one another to come up with creative problem-solving solutions. I also have to give a special shout-out to the legal team specifically – I work with an incredibly smart and fun group of people that really inspire me to think outside of the box.”
Outside of work, Heather enjoys interior decorating, reading, cooking, and golfing. Heather is originally from Ashburnham, Massachusetts, her favorite football team is the University of Michigan Wolverines, her favorite food is pasta, and her favorite movie is “When Harry Met Sally.” Heather has a 10-year-old French bulldog named Olive who can often be heard snoring in the background of meetings.
Fun Fact: In January 2020, Heather visited Helsinki, Finland, and swam in the Baltic Sea!
