For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays employee spotlight, meet Greg Atter!
Greg is a Field Construction Manager for Tilson’s Outside Plant (OSP) division and is based out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In his role, Greg leads a team that installs fiber internet infrastructure underground, bringing high-speed internet to underserved communities in Wisconsin. This includes overseeing field operations, managing timelines, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe environment for his crew and the public.
Emphasizing Tilson’s commitment to safety, Greg said that he values working for a company where everyone is “very safety oriented,” adding, “I appreciate how Tilson cares for their employees and that they push for the best safety standards.”
Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time with his family and playing with their two German shepherds. Living in Wisconsin, he has excellent access to enjoy his outdoor hobbies of hunting and recreational shooting.
Fun fact: Greg has worked in nearly 40 different U.S. states!
