For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Gary!
Gary is a Warehouse Assistant based out of Tilson’s Appleton, Wisconsin office and is responsible for managing, tracking, and reporting incoming and outgoing materials and equipment.
“I enjoy working for Tilson because the company has a great work culture. Once I got here, I found out quickly that they not only talk the talk, but they walk the walk, and they treat me like a person. My manager lets me come in early so I can leave early on Tuesdays and Thursdays to coach basketball at my son’s school. I also have the ability to work from home when needed and can voice my opinion and be heard by leadership. Tilson puts people first.”
Outside of work, Gary enjoys coaching a basketball team, baking, and spending time with his friends and family. Gary was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has lived in Appleton for the last 20 years. He is a Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Milwaukie Brewers sports fan. His favorite food is a slow cooked roast, his favorite movie is Remember the Titans, and he has three dogs, Coco, Shelby, and Booker.
Fun fact: Gary adopted his youngest son, his nephew, when he was two years old, and is currently fostering two twin girls.
