Tilson Tuesdays, Erin Bratcher

In recognition of Women’s History Month, we are featuring women throughout the month of March who are influencing and leading Tilson’s mission to build America’s information infrastructure. For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays employee spotlight, meet Erin Bratcher!

Erin is a GIS Technician III on Tilson’s Engineering team, based remotely in Virginia Beach. In Erin’s role, she uses GIS (geographic information system) maps and data to create interactive blueprints that our construction crews use when building telecommunications networks. She also creates automated workflows and dashboards to align and enhance our construction efforts across multiple projects, clients, and markets. Erin’s work ensures our data is always up to date and our teams have the information needed to construct state-of-the-art networks safely and effectively.

Erin’s favorite memory since joining Tilson in 2023 was visiting job sites in Las Vegas and seeing GIS technology in action. “Watching construction teams use our field maps to track restoration work and provide real-time feedback was both exciting and rewarding,” Erin said.

Outside of work, Erin can be found rock climbing, mountaineering, or skiing. When she’s not on an outdoor adventure, she enjoys crocheting, cooking, and baking. Erin currently lives in Virginia Beach with her fiancé and her dog Moose.

Fun fact: Erin’s personal goal is to hike the highest peak in each U.S. state. She’s nearly there and has already summited 46 of the 50.

Thank you, Erin, for sharing your creativity and adventurous spirit with Tilson!
