For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet DeeDee!
DeeDee is a Permit Specialist on Tilson’s Outside Plant team and is responsible for working with municipalities to secure permits and approvals for our engineering designs.
“I love the ability to work remotely from home every day,” said DeeDee. “There are no more hours wasted commuting to work. Tilson offers a great work/life balance. The people that work here are so awesome, I enjoy collaborating with such helpful, smart, and funny colleagues”
Outside of work, DeeDee enjoys traveling, going to concerts, bow hunting, ice fishing, playing pool, and going for rides on her husband’s Harley. DeeDee is from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and currently lives in the area with her husband, rescue dog, Ruby, and two cats, Puss and Boots. Her favorite sports team is the Green Bay Packers, her favorite food is tacos, and her favorite movie is Tommy Boy.
Fun fact: DeeDee previously worked as a Journeyman Carpenter, where she was the first female to ever complete the Carpentry Apprenticeship Program at Moraine Park Technical College.
