For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Dave Finnemore!
Dave is an Outside Plant Engineer III based remotely out of the Finger Lakes region in New York. With over 16 years of experience in the telecom industry, he has extensive knowledge to pull from as he designs aerial and underground fiber optic infrastructure for Tilson’s clients. Dave has a special interest in aerial design and is excited that Tilson is expanding this service to new markets.
The biggest reason Dave enjoys being at Tilson is because of the culture. “I joined Tilson just over one year ago after many years in this industry and the culture I’ve found here is second to none,” he said. “The friendly and collaborative attitude makes for a comfortable work environment and fosters personal and team growth.”
When not designing telecom networks for Tilson, Dave can be found enjoying time with his family in the great outdoors. The Finger Lakes area provides great opportunities to be out on the water canoeing and they enjoy camping when the weather cooperates. Currently, his favorite book is The Singing Wilderness by Sigurd Olson. He also has two dogs, Trigger and Ella, and a three-legged cat named Trike.
Fun fact: Dave has eight chickens named Hattie, Winnie, Elly, Gwen, Mavis, Dorothy, Betty, and George.
