For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Cole!
Cole is a Strategic Sourcing Director based out of Wake Forest, North Carolina, and is responsible for overseeing vendors, managing our fleet and equipment, and sourcing materials. If you’re interested in becoming a subcontractor for our team, please reach out to us at supplychain@tilsontech.com.
“Tilson has a good mix of industry experience, and a lot of intellectual curiosity,” said Cole. “We are all working toward growing the company and bringing broadband to underserved communities and businesses, and while it can certainly be challenging at times, the group we have at Tilson tries to be kind to each other and work together to overcome any challenges.”
Outside of work, Cole enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and camping, exploring new breweries and wineries, or kicking back and playing video games. Cole is from Wilson, North Carolina, and currently lives in Wake Forest, North Carolina, with his wife and kids. His favorite sports team is his alma mater, the East Carolina University Pirates, his favorite food is Mexican or Thai, and his favorite tv shows are Ted Lasso and Game of Thrones.
Fun Fact: Cole has screws in three of his major joints from torn ligaments, which he’s had since before he was 20 years old.
