For this week’s #tilsontuesdays, meet Bruce Holleman!
Bruce joined Tilson in March of this year as the Equipment Field Mechanic for our Las Vegas market. In his role, Bruce is on the front lines to repair and service Tilson’s vehicles and equipment. This is no small task, as Tilson’s Las Vegas crews use a wide variety of vehicles and mechanical equipment to deploy fiber to residential and commercial areas of the city.
Bruce truly enjoys fixing things and likes reading service manuals, which makes him perfectly suited for his role where he is tasked with quickly learning the ins and outs of advanced machinery, like Tilson’s new, state-of-the-art drills and microtrenchers.
“Tilson has a teamwork culture,” said Bruce as he commended the camaraderie of his team and how everyone jumps in to help and support each other to get work done.
Prior to joining Tilson, Bruce served as part of the United States Naval Construction Battalion, known as the U.S. Navy Seabees. Outside of work, Bruce enjoys spending time with his family and keeps busy with a variety of activities, such as Harley rides, off road adventures, and shooting sports.
Fun fact: Bruce has four dogs. A brother and sister pair of mastiff/blue nose pit mixes, a blue heeler, and a black lab.
