For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays employee spotlight, meet Alex Vann!
Alex is a Technical Writer on Tilson’s Broadband Consulting team, supporting them with writing requests for proposals, documents required for grant programs, and business development proposals. Tilson’s Broadband Consulting team helps states and municipalities design and build broadband networks and secure grant funding from federal and state programs.
Alex has been with Tilson for just under a year and appreciates the culture that he’s found here. “Tilson is a company that prioritizes its employees, as shown in the benefits offered, the professional development opportunities, and the way employees are treated,” Alex said.
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Alex enjoys being able to explore the many lakes and hiking trails in the area. In his free time, he plays ultimate frisbee, goes bouldering, or plays video games. He and his wife have three dogs: Lily the mini chihuahua, Tippy the Chihuahua terrier, and Maxwell the brown lab.
Fun fact: Alex earned his black belt in karate when he was a teenager.
