Tilson Tuesdays, Alberto Lopez

For this week’s Tilson Tuesdays employee spotlight, meet Alberto Lopez!

Alberto is a Hard Surface Restoration Foreman on Tilson’s Las Vegas Outside Plant team, where he leads a skilled crew responsible for restoring sidewalks, driveways, and other hard surfaces impacted by the installation of underground fiber cables. Once fiber installation is complete, the restoration process begins, ensuring that neighborhoods are fully returned to their original condition.

As part of the job, Alberto and his team carefully assess each surface to determine the best approach for repair, whether it’s replacing concrete panels, regrading areas that may have shifted, or filling in any gaps created during the digging process. Using advanced restoration techniques, they ensure that the repairs will hold up over time by handling every project with precision and attention to detail. While construction can be disruptive for homeowners, Alberto and his team work hard to make sure the neighborhood is restored to its original state.

“Restoration is really important – we are the last ones on a site, making sure everything is cleaned up and looks good for our neighbors,” said Alberto. “Our goal as a team is to restore everything to how it was before, or even better, and to always make our communities happy.”

Outside of work, Alberto likes to spend his free time with family. He has one young son and is currently preparing for the arrival of a new daughter (congrats!). The family also has two dogs, a pit bull named Feliz and a shih tzu named Peluche.

Fun fact: Alberto’s favorite project at Tilson (so far) was when he and his team had to pour an impressive 25-30 yards of concrete at once.

Thank you, Alberto, for your leadership and for always going the extra mile to guarantee a thorough restoration for our neighborhoods.
