Tilson Tuesdays, Victoria Foster

This month for #tilsontuesdays, we are featuring some of the amazing interns who participated in our 16-week summer internship program. For this week’s highlight, meet Victoria!

Victoria is an Accounting Intern on Tilson’s Accounts Receivable team, where she helps with opening and closing jobs, opening contracts, pulling reports, and creating new purchase orders. Victoria is joining us from Columbus State University, where she is a senior studying accounting.

“I chose Tilson because I plan to get a master’s degree in accounting information systems and thought this internship would be a great way to see how accounting and technology go hand in hand,” said Victoria. “My internship experience was great! I would describe this internship experience to others as a positive opportunity to expand your classroom knowledge while learning new things about full-time job demands. You will get to meet many people and gain a lot of knowledge from different people that will help you.”

Outside of school and work, Victoria enjoys going to the gym, trying new foods, and swimming. Victoria is originally from New York City and now lives in Georgia. Her favorite foods are salmon and lamb chops, her favorite sports team is the Pittsburgh Steelers, and her favorite movie is “The Great Gatsby.”

Fun Fact: Victoria has lived in 3 different countries.

Thank you, Victoria, for all your hard work this summer!
