For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Jay!
Jay is the Director of Telecom Consulting out of Tilson’s Portland, ME headquarters and is responsible for managing Tilson’s team of broadband consultants, consulting engineers, project leaders, and managers who provide telecom consulting in the areas of technical due diligence, broadband consulting, and project management.
“Far and away, the people who work at Tilson make working here so enjoyable,” said Jay. “Beyond that, I have always enjoyed the variety of work. I have been working at Tilson for a relatively long time (almost 13 years). Over the years, I have observed the culture to be entrepreneurial in nature and up-beat.”
Outside of work, Jay enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and cooking. Jay’s favorite food is mussels, his go-to movies are “The Wild Bunch” and “RV”, and he enjoys reading the book “The Sun Also Rises” by Ernest Hemingway. He’s originally from North Hampton, NH and has a dog named Peach.
