For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Derrick!
Derrick is a Senior Consultant on Tilson’s Construction IT team, where he does application consulting, data conversion, custom programming, and integration development for Tilson’s Viewpoint consulting practice.
“In one word, I would describe the culture at Tilson as “inviting”. Inviting for growth; inviting challenges; inviting stability; inviting for opportunity,” Derrick said. “Tilson leadership from the Construction IT group is amazing. We have leaders who know how and when to provide guidance and when to step out of the way to allow the work to get done. Our team is comprised of well-respected industry professionals with the experience to assist each other.”
Outside of work, Derrick enjoys cooking, sports, and saltwater fishing! As a Louisiana native, Derrick is a LSU Tigers fan, a Southern Jaguars fan on Saturday, and a New Orleans Saints fan on Sundays.
Fun Fact: Derrick has traveled extensively in his career, working on projects in 26 states and 4 countries.
