For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Janet Leese!
Janet is an OSP Engineer based out of Tilson’s Portland, Maine office, where she focuses on designing fiber projects in New England.
“I enjoy the fast-paced environment, and the fact that each day is never the same,” she says. “There’s always something new happening, and many opportunities to grow and learn about this industry!”
Outside of work, Janet enjoys playing disc golf, hiking, kayaking, and spending time outdoors. Originally from Western Massachusetts, she’s been living in Maine for the past 8 years with her 2 cats and a recently adopted 14-year-old beagle “who was looking for a retirement home.” Janet roots for the New England Patriots, Bruins, and the Minnesota Wild, her favorite food is Thai food, and she enjoys reading outside when the weather is warm.
Fun Fact: Did you know that Janet played the sousaphone while in the marching band at the University of Maine?
