In observance of National Veterans and Military Families Month, we are featuring some of the brave men and women we are proud to call our teammates throughout the month of November.
For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Adria!
Adria is our VP of Workforce and works out of Tilson’s Portland, ME office, where she oversees the HR, Talent Acquisition, Safety, and Marketing & Communications teams.
Adria has served over 10 years in Active Duty and is still serving as a Reservist. During her time in the Army, Adria served in both the Military Police and Psychological Operations where she was a Platoon Leader, S3/S4, Detachment Commander, Future Plans and Operations Officer, and is now a Lieutenant Colonel serving as a Small Group Instructor.
About what her time in the military service has meant to her, Adria says, “Almost everything. I didn’t come from a family with a lot of military service so my personal experiences formed all my opinions. Some experiences were better than others but all were valuable in ways I couldn’t have created or paid for in any other way. I deployed five times in nine years and though exhausted, the Army still gave me more than I could ever give back to it.”
