Tilson Tuesdays, Frank Koury

For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee highlight, meet Frank!

Frank is Tilson’s National Operations & Safety Manager of Tower Construction. He is based in Western New York but travels to all of Tilson’s tower construction offices and is responsible for training tower technicians, performing safety inspections, and improving the overall safety of Tilson’s employees and subcontractors. He is also a certified climbing and rescue instruction examiner, rigging instruction, and National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA) examiner.

“Tilson’s commitment to safety is refreshing in an industry that presents so many risks to its workers,” says Frank. “I love the culture here at Tilson. There are many divisions of the company, but everyone is working towards a common goal. Their support of prior and current military service members means a lot to me and was one of the main reasons I came to work at Tilson.”

Outside of work, Frank enjoys hunting and fishing with his two children, Thomas and Abby. He’s originally from upstate New York, loves New York style pizza, roots for the New England Patriots, and his favorite movie is the “Predator” which he’s watched over 50 times. Frank has three pets: a German shepard named Timber, a bloodhound named Rufus, and a cat named Ocelot.

Fun fact: Did you know Frank was a national level Judo competitor and instructor?

Thanks for all your hard work, Frank! We’re glad to have you on the team.
