Tilson Hires Former Maine Director of Veterans’ Services, Adria Horn, as Vice President of Workforce Development

PORTLAND, Maine (August 29, 2018). Tilson, an award-winning national network deployment and IT professional services firm, is pleased to announce and welcome Adria Horn as Vice President of Workforce Development, effective September 19th. Horn previously served as Director of Maine’s Bureau of Veterans’ Services for three years, where she led local and national veteran outreach and legislative initiatives. Under her direction, Maine’s veteran programs were recognized as national models of best practices. 

As a member of Tilson’s Senior Management team, Horn will be responsible for implementing Tilson’s global workforce strategy by deepening Tilson’s internal training and career pathing, and partnering with educational institutions, industry, and the military in building Tilson’s world class team of technical professionals.

Horn is a graduate of West Point and received her MBA from Northeastern University. She is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve where she has led psychological operations for Pacific Command and has deployed in support of the Global War on Terror five times during her 17-year military career. She worked for United States Senator Susan Collins in her Portland Field Office upon returning from active duty.
