ST. JOHNSBURY, Vermont (07/21/2021). Tilson, a national network development and information infrastructure professional services firm, completed construction of a fiber to the premise (FTTP) network bringing Tilson Broadband’s fiber optic internet service to parts of Danville, Lunenburg, and St. Johnsbury, Vermont. In just eight months, Tilson designed and constructed over 100 miles of fiber in Vermont extending broadband internet access to thousands of underserved and unserved Americans.

Supported by two grants awarded to Tilson last year, Tilson Broadband customers, most of whom did not have access to highspeed internet prior, now have access to world class broadband fiber internet speeds ranging from 500 Mbps to up to 10 Gbps. Additionally, buoyed by the customer response, Tilson Broadband has committed capital to further expand the network in Vermont over the next 18 months.
