Tilson, a national network development and information infrastructure professional services firm, announced the appointment of Ben Howard to Chief Operating Officer and Matthew Trickey to Vice President of Outside Plant Strategy. Additionally, the company has promoted Conor Hobbs and Colin Roberts to Senior Vice President, recognizing their critical roles in steering Tilson’s outside plant operations. These changes reflect Tilson’s commitment to building America’s information infrastructure while strengthening service quality and operational efficiency.
As Chief Operating Officer, Ben Howard brings more than 20 years of experience in operational leadership and strategic management to Tilson. In his previous role as CEO of Bilinger, Inc. and COO of Bilfinger North America, a major construction and maintenance provider, he successfully led several key initiatives around safety, optimization, and operational excellence.
At Tilson, Howard will oversee daily operations, drive improvements in efficiency, and support the company’s strategic objectives, leveraging his extensive background in managing complex operations and successful growth strategies.
Matthew Trickey, appointed as Vice President of Outside Plant Strategy, offers over 25 years of telecom experience. Before joining Tilson, Trickey served as Sales Director at Amdocs, where he led the expansion of wireless and systems integration projects. His previous roles as Senior Account Director at Goodman Networks, Inc., and Assistant Vice President of Sales at KGPCo underscore his deep industry expertise. At Tilson, Trickey will focus on driving new business opportunities and aligning with the company’s strategic growth goals.
Tilson is also pleased to announce the promotion of Conor Hobbs and Colin Roberts from Vice President to Senior Vice President in Tilson’s Outside Plant division. Hobbs, who joined Tilson in 2022, has been a key driver managing Tilson’s largest fiber broadband projects across the West. Colin Roberts, who joined Tilson in 2020, has been pivotal in expanding the company’s presence in the Midwest and the East. The promotions of Hobbs and Roberts recognize their exceptional leadership and pivotal contributions to Tilson’s fiber services growth.
