  • Information technology, including software development, project management, and information security
  • Fiber optic engineering, permitting, and construction management
  • Wireless site acquisition, construction, and DAS for mobile carriers, public safety, and smart grid applications

 Description

  • Responsible for build and maintenance of cell towers
  • Will complete scopes of work assigned while ensuring safety, quality, timelines and financial expectations are met for commercial deployment of services.
  • Work items include
    • Grounding
    • Installation of antennas
    • Antenna mounts, microwaves, coax lines, TMA's, RF jumpers, remote electrical down-tilts / Bias-T's, remote radio heads
    • Fiber/DC Hybrid cables
    • Sweep and PIM testing
    • Site audits and maintenance tasks

Qualifications

  • 3 years experience climbing telecommunications towers preferred, transferable military jobs (radioman, comm techs, field radio personnel) strongly encouraged to apply
  • Excellent safety record
  • Knowledge of sector/antenna configurations with respect to jumper and coax routing, RET settings and cabling, and fiber routing.
  • Ability to fully test an antenna/line system as required via PIM or Sweep
  • Ability to follow detailed method of procedures (MOP) and practices to perform maintenance on equipment.
  • Knowledge of antennas and polarization patterns and factors affecting bandwidth and gain/loss of antennas and spectrums.
  • Valid driver’s license – no exceptions
  • Must be able to pass a 10 year background scope and drug test
  • Able to work in varying weather conditions

 This is a full-time hourly position with frequent travel to client markets throughout the east coast.

 Successful candidates will be required to submit to criminal background and drug screening tests, including random drug testing.
